* A VENETIAN MARTIAL SCHIAVONA BROADSWORD,
circa 1700, with straight multi-fullered 31 1/2in. single-edged blade (tip re-profiled, edge-nicks), the narrow fullers stamped with repeating 'XIIX' designs and signed on both sides 'ANDREA FERARA' (the signatures interspersed with further 'X' stamps, complex swept basket hilt mainly comprised of 13 flat iron bars (some cracks and deformation), cross-guard with ball-finial quillion (bent back on itself), later smooth leather covered grip-piece and later silver-plated bulbous pommel (plating worn)
