circa 1898, with concealed 6 3/4in. barrel, needle fore-sight, cast standing notch rear-sight, hexagonal headed loading probe mounted to the rear, solid integral frame cast with foliage behind the squared trigger-blade, the design encompassing the monogram 'MGR', cast 'snakeskin' chequered panels to the grip piece, iron 'T' bar cocking rod to base of grip retained by a disc marked 'PATENT', the whole retaining nearly all its original nickel plated finish with only minor loss to some raised extremities, action weak
