26 1/2in. nitro barrels with 6mm ventilated matt top-rib, the top tube marked 'BROWNING ARMS COMPANY' on the left, the right with the Beretta 'PB' trademark and 'SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. 2 3/4" MOBILCHOKE PATENT ITALY 4265044', 2 3/4in. chambers, multichokes (no spares), hold-open toplever, manual safety with integral barrel selector switch, gold-washed trigger, blacked action marked with 'BROWNING' and the buckmark emblem, the underside with 'MORGAN', 14 1/4in. pistolgrip stock with sling swivels, including buttplate, weight 7lb., in its makers universal case
Other Notes: This gun was made in Italy, circa 1985, and is incredibly reminiscent of a Beretta Onyx.
In 1972, an agreement was made between Beretta and Fabrique Nationale. This agreement between the major European arms companies was intended to consolidate and protect their market from aggressive expansion by the American and Japanese makers. The relationship ended in 1995, when the Beretta family withdrew, and bought back shares held by Fabrique Nationale.
