1930/1959 - EJ CHURCHILL (GUNMAKERS) LTD. - PAPERS CONTAINING GUNMAKING INFORMATION AND PATENT SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING: a) 12 May 1930-Arnold Louis Chevallier's original drawing specification for
Robert Churchill in respect of the Recoil Cocking Vertical System of Triangular Wedge Brace Fastening (fragile!)
b) 1931-The original flyer (inkstained) giving information about Robert
Churchill's new Twin Trigger invention under Patent No 350,430. This invention was originally known as the "compound selective trigger" and then known as the "Twin Trigger "and later known as the "Repeating Trigger"
c) 4, June 1931-A copy of Patent Specification 350,430 for Churchill's Repeating Trigger invention. This invention was first fitted to Churchill guns in 1930.
d) 11 August 1932-A copy of Patent Specification 378,369 for small changes to Robert Churchill's Repeating Trigger specification.
e) 7 May 1936--A copy of Patent Specification 446,870 in the name of Robert Churchill and his Crayford workshop foreman, Horace Badcock, regarding "Locking the Barrels of Breech Loading Firearms"
f) 10 May 1946-Cogswell & Harrison Specification for Chamber Reamers
(fragile!). This was copied by Robert Churchill's workmen at Leicester Square.
g) 9 June 1951- Carbon copy of Bill Carver's report to Robert Churchill regarding the Birmingham outworkers, Harrison, Phillips and Crathorn.
h) January 1952-Typed carbon copy of Bill Carver's report on the Smith-Type 12 Bore Easy Opening action pattern.
i) January 1952- Typed carbon copy of Bill Carver's report on Cocking and Ejectors at side lock Under & Overs.
j) EJ Churchill Price Lists for guns made in 1914; 1920; 1957:1958-l959
