A SINGLE-MAN GUNNING PUNT,
dating to the 1920s, of yellow pine on oak construction with fibreglass sheathed hull, full complement of accessories to include mast and sail, gun crutch, setting pole and a pair of oars, length overall 19ft. 3in. and 3ft. 3in. in the beam, the punt comes with a dedicated road trailer.
Provenance: This Lot is available to be viewed at the vendor's mid-Wales premises and should be collected within a reasonable period of the sale, by arrangement with the vendor.
Other Notes: Whilst the punt is in generally sound order, the original mast and sail are provided only as patterns for replacements to be made, and the bottom-boards are missing (although the timber for these will be provided). The trailer is fully road legal with much work carried out recently. The buyer will need to provide a lightboard.
