circa 1870, similar to the 1811 pattern and of 'Blucher' type, with lightly curved fullered 33 1/2in. blade, etched along both sides and the back of blade (polished out), nickel-plated stirrup hilt and cross-guard with twin wide langets, curved plated back-strap and wire-bound leather grip-piece, complete with its plated scabbard with single fixed suspension ring
