A BRITISH 1821 LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD,
circa 1880, with unusual un-fullered 35in. spear-point blade (some surface staining), false edged for the last 10in., large etched starburst and inlaid proof mark at forte, the reverse etched 'ROB'T MOLE & SONS BIRMINGHAM, MAKERS TO THE WAR AND INDIA OFFICES', typical iron three-bar hilt, iron back-strap with stepped pommel and wire-bound chequered horn grip scales, COMPLETE WITH its pigskin leather field scabbard (losses to drag)
