Belgian, circa 1870, with octagonal 2 1/2in. barrel, crescent fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, fluted cylinder, solid frame with hinged loading gate, chequered walnut two-piece grips, provision for lanyard ring at heel (missing), swing out ejector rod mounted in cylinder axle, the whole retaining much original plated finish
