FERLACH', open sights and ramp-mounted bead fore-sight, the breech end mounted with a Schmidt & Bender 1 1/4 - 4x20 telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts, gold-washed ejectors, wooden side-fillets; quadruple-grip action with side-bolsters, removable striker discs, automatic safety, hand-detachable lockplates with concealed flush release lever, cocking-indicators, gold-washed triggers, the front a set trigger, horn triggerguard, the fences carved in high relief with oak leaves and acorns, the toplever pierced with a squirrel, varying scroll engraving, the left lockplate carved in relief with red deer in a woodland setting, the right lockplate carved in relief with a pointer flushing game, the underside with a roe buck, bright and blued finish, 13 3/4in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, hogsback comb, pistolgrip-cap, sling swivels and including 5/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 9lb. 3oz.
Other Notes: The vendor has kindly informed us that there is a set of 25 1/2in. 7x65R / 16-bore combination barrels, signed 'FRANZ SODIA. FERLACH.',with a Carl Zeiss Diavari-D 1,5-6x telescopic sight in quickly-detachable mounts and a pair of 29 5/8in. nitro 16-bore shot barrels, signed 'EDUARD KETTNER, KOLN.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 and full choke, that share the same fore-end available for this rifle.
These barrels can be made available to the buyer of this Lot but will require proofing (at the buyers cost) before they can be released
