30in. Greener trade mark nitro reproved barrels, concave matt rib with cartouche engraved 'W. W. GREENER. MAKER. 68 HAYMARKET LONDON. WORKS ST. MARY'S SQUARE. BIRMINGHAM.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks, plain action and lockplates retaining some original colour-hardening, 13 3/4in. figured stock including horn buttplate, fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch and horn finial, weight 6lb. 12oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed with 30in. Sandvik steel barrels in February 1905.
