31 7/8in. Greener trade mark black powder only damascus barrels, broad rib engraved 'W. W. GREENER. ST. MARY'S WORKS. BIRMINGHAM.', 2 7/8in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in both, carved percussion fences, rebounding sidelocks with carved, faceted hammers, incorporating aspects of W. W. Greener self-locking patent no. 3090 of 9th September 1874 (relating to earlier cross-bolt patent 3084 of Sept 19th 1873), plain action, lockplates engraved with the makers name, triggerguard with horn grip attachment, 13 3/4in. stock including steel buttplate, fore-end with cross pin release, light damage to right edge, weight 8lb. 10oz.
