PIPEWELL.', hinged alloy floorplate with push button release, well-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, monte carlo comb, horn pistolgrip-cap and fore-end finial, sling swivel (front missing), 13 1/2in. pull including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, the stock with escutcheon engraved 'A ST. G. T. to K.W. 2002'
Provenance: The vendor has kindly informed us of the following:
"This rifle was one of Andrew Tucker's sporting rifles. He was the Captain of the English Full Bore Rifle Team, I believe he was the longest serving captain of any English team. He won Bisley twice [the Queen's Cup], Commonwealth Games Gold and far too many other honours to mention. He gave me the rifle shortly before he died."
