dated for 1864, with 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, ladder rear-sight graduated to 1100yds., three-groove rifling, signed and dated borderline engraved lock, walnut three-quarter straight-hand stock with brass furniture, two iron barrel-bands and a bayonet bar fitted to right-hand side of muzzle, the whole darkly stained
