circa 1872, with round 3 1/2in. blued barrel, the top-rib signed and marked with patent dates to 1865, applied nickel crescent fore-sight, notch rear-sight to the locking spring, blued fluted cylinder, blued hinged frame and smooth rosewood birdshead grips, the whole retaining a good proportion of original finish
