A FINE DETACHED RIGHT-HAND FLINTLOCK LOCK MECHANISM,
circa 1795, of flat, slightly curved bevel-edged stepped with pointed tail form, un-engraved, the signature in block letters underneath the rainproof pan, the hammer formed with a flint-buffer to the top-jaw, roller-bearing to the frizzen-foot, the internal mainspring carved with a feather terminal and the bridle carved with scrolled accents
