A SCARCE .177 BARREL-COCKING SPRING-PISTON AIR-PISTOL, MODEL 'PRE-WAR SENIOR', serial no. S4673,
circa 1931, with rifled 7in. barrel, stirrup locking-latch, stepped air-chamber marked with 'THE WEBLEY SENIOR' over 'MADE IN ENGLAND' on the left hand side, and 'WEBLEY & SCOTT LTD BIRMINGHAM' together with three lines of patent numbers on the right, non-adjustable trigger-unit and chequered hard-rubber grips embossed with the 'W & S' logo, fair traces of original finish
