Provenance: First manufactured in 1981 and built under supervision from Robert Beeman by Weihrauch of Germany, this gun was based on a tuned and modified Model HW35 and was the first spring-piston air-rifle to exceed the 1000 fps. muzzle-velocity barrier. It directly spawned the highly popular Model HW80 (marketed by Weihrauch) and successfully launched the concept of 'adult' airguns to North America. This particular example was one of a batch of restricted examples imported into the U.K. by Manchester Air Guns.
