ERFURT
A 9mm (PARA) SEMI-AUTOMATIC SERVICE-PISTOL MODEL 'P08', serial no. 1637, TOGETHER WITH A SET OF BRITISH SERVICE MEDALS,
the pistol dated for 1918, with 4in. sighted barrel, toggle-bolt stamped 'ERFURT', blued receiver, blued frame and chequered walnut grips (some surface corrosion throughout), complete with a brown leather service holster containing a spare magazine, all matching numbers including both magazines (one chipped at base), the holster with interior inked stamp 'BA XI' and the exterior amateurly signed 'G. FIELDEN' TOGETHER WITH five WWII service medals including the War Medal, Defence Medal, 39-45 Star, Africa Star and the France and Germany Star.
Provenance: The medals were awarded to Mr R.H. Davis. The pistol was 'acquired' whilst on active duty in France during 1944
