A 20-BORE FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT SASH-PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1750, with shortened slightly swamped 7 1/2in. barrel, traces of engraving to top of barrel near breech, engraved solid top-tang, border engraved radiused lockplate signed 'GRIFFIN & TOW', similar engraving to the hammer and frizzen, walnut full-stock (old splits and repairs) with brass furniture including grotesque mask butt-cap with long side-spurs, double roll-edged trigger-guard bow and replacement wood ramrod
