Birmingham made circa 1850, with round 3in. plain barrel, centrally mounted nipple in rear of breech, central hammer boxlock action with folding trigger, single folding drop-point 3in. blade (thinned through sharpening), nickel-silver bolsters, dark horn curved side-scales with chequered rear-halves, rear-mounted nickel-silver cap-box, provision for tweezers (missing) and iron spring-loaded lanyard clip
