circa 1800, with turn-off 1 1/2in. round barrel (frozen), engraved band at muzzle and join, boxlock round-bodied central hammer action with border and foliate engraving, signed underneath the pan 'WILSON' on the left and 'LONDON on the right hand side, rainproof pedestal pan, frizzen with twin roller-bearings, sliding safe locking the hammer and frizzen mounted to the top-tang, finely chequered round cross-section bag-shaped butt, silver clipped-corner rectangular escutcheon mounted to the wrist and border engraving around the concealed automatic trigger
