circa 1770, with tapering banded turn-off 2 1/2in. barrel (frozen), private proofs, squared boxlock central hammer action signed in script on the left hand side, scroll engraving to the right, walnut slab-sided butt with silver inlaid wire scrolls and sliding trigger-guard safety
