TWO RIMFIRE SINGLE-ACTION FIVE-SHOT POCKET REVOLVERS, MODELS 'EXCELSIOR' AND 'WHITNEYVILLE ARMORY', serial no's. 4484 & 2652D,
both American and circa 1870, the first in calibre .32 with tapering round 2 1/2in. barrel, fluted cylinder and solid frame with spur-trigger and chequered gutta percha grips, the second in calibre .30 with octagonal 2 1/2in, barrel, fluted cylinder, plated bronze frame with spur-trigger and smooth rosewood grips (missing part of cylinder arbour)
