circa 1800, with 2 1/2in. round plain turn-off barrels (frozen), squared boxlock action signed in engraved ovals 'NOCK' and 'LONDON' on the left and right hand sides respectively, central hammers, slab-sided walnut butts and iron trigger-guard bows, both pistols darkly stained
