28in. replacement nitro barrels (circa 1955) with blank rib, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/2 choke, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, unsigned lockplates with best fine bouquet, acanthus scroll and filiciform engraving (characteristic of J. Lang design), bright and reblued finish overall, 15 1/2in. boldly figured stock, cracked and repaired at hand and including 1 5/8in. wooden extension, weight 6lb. 11oz.
