27 3/8in. shortened nitro barrels, rib engraved 'COGSWELL & HARRISON LTD. 168 PICCADILLY & 226 STRAND. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, some pitting, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and scroll engraving, brushed finish, 14 1/4in. stock, weight 6lb. 10oz.
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed as a 'Crown' grade in November 1923 for Colonel P.A. Kewal.
