'Hercule Trempe' nitro chopperlump barrels with sunken matt rib and five palm branches, directors MDF inspection mark, left barrel engraved in gothic script 'FUSIL L' IDEAL BREVETE DANS TOUS LES PAYS.', the right with 'MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D'ARMES ET CYCLES DE ST.ETIENNE', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and 3/4 choke, right tube at 17 and left tube with ring bulge, quadruple grip action with rising top bites, carved fences with side-clips, cocking-indicators, rounded bar, twin trigger and triggerguards with triggerplate mounted sliding safety, the action and furniture deeply carved in relief with grape and vine motifs, with acanthus scrollwork and trademark poincons, bright finish overall, 14 5/8in. figured semi-pistolgrip stock with integral retracting leather sling and Manufrance buttplate, fore-end with lever release, weight 6lb.
