W.C.2.', (No.1 rib engraving indistinct, No.2 right wall thickness below recommended minimum), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke (No.1) full choke in both (No.2), automatic safeties, border and acanthus scroll engraving surrounding conchiform motifs, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. stocks including buttplates, weight 6lb. 12oz. (No.1) 6lb. 5oz. (No.2), in their brass-cornered leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this pair of shotguns were completed with 27in. barrels in August 1939.
