30 1/4in. nitro reproved barrels, the rib engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND 98 NEW BOND STREET LONDON' (refreshed, left wall thickness below recommended minimum), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, patent gas checks, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, bouquet and scroll engraving, the underside engraved 'ROYAL EJECTOR PATENT No. 16691', brushed bright finish, 15in. figured stock (cracked at hand), weight 6lb. 8oz., in its leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed circa 1892 for a 'Fox', the barrel length is indistinct in the ledger.
