ALNWICK.', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. and full choke, treble-grip action with hidden third bite, fences carved in high relief with stylised leaf motifs, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral and scroll bordering, retaining much colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. well-figured stock, gold escutcheon engraved 'R.J. 1-6-37', weight 6lb. 2oz.
