A 22-BORE FLINTLOCK OFFICERS PISTOL, no visible serial number,
circa 1800, with octagonal 8in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'LONDON, solid engraved top-tang. slightly curved, borderline engraved bevel-edged lock with rounded stepped tail, scroll engraved hammer, roller bearing to the frizzen spring, sliding safe behind the hammer, plain walnut full-stock with bag-shaped butt, captive iron under-barrel ramrod, the whole lightly cleaned with some loss to detail
