RASCH', 'BRAUNSCHWEIG', the breech ends silver-inlaid with a Greek key meander design, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke, treble-grip action with carved serpentine fences, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SICHER' detail, rounded bar action with ornate lockplates, bold acanthus scroll engraving with game scenes of fox, pheasant and roe deer with gold line bordering, set front trigger, the triggerguard relief engraved with a monogram, 14 1/2in. semi-pistolgrip stock (crack at hand) with cheekpiece, sling swivels and gold-inlaid and engraved ammunition trap (fitted for two 16-bore cartridges and two rifle cartridges), fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release catch, missing finial, weight 6lb. 2oz.
