A COMPOSED PAIR OF .700 FLINTLOCK SERVICE PISTOLS, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Belgian, circa 1810, with round 9in. tapering barrels, solid top-tangs with rounded tails, plain slightly radiused locks with pointed tails, walnut full-stocks with brass furniture including flat-based butt-caps, trigger-guards and fore-end nose-caps, no provision for ramrods, one pistol stamped with a Turkish 'tughra' to breech-end and lock-plate, the other pistol with old repair to fore-end, brushed bright finish throughout
