A 60-BORE FLINTLOCK TAP-ACTION OVER-UNDER BOXLOCK POCKET-PISTOL, no visible serial number
circa 1790, with turn-off 1 1/4in. barrels (frozen), starred muzzles with engraved bands, borderline engraved frame with a starburst to the tap-drum, martial trophies engraved to the boxlock action sides, the left hand centrally signed 'H.NOCK', the right 'LONDON', central hammer with sliding safe also locking the frizzen, chequered bag-shaped butt with silver diamond-shaped escutcheon to wrist and a short-tailed silver butt-cap, double roll-edged trigger-guard bow, cleaned with some mild pitting
