circa 1918, with 19 1/4in. blued barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight, elevating rear-sight, tap-loading, plain air-chamber etched with 'THE BSA STANDARD AIR RIFLE .177 BORE, THE BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO LTD ENGLAND SOLE MAKERS', chequered pistol-grip butt of the 'Improved Model 'D' type marked 14 1/4in., under-lever with side release latch, much original finish throughout
Other Notes: This rifle shares all its components with a late Improved Model 'D' air-rifle but has an etched air-chamber marked as for the Standard model
