WALKER 12-BORE TOPLEVER SINGLE-BITE SNAP-ACTION HAMMERGUN, serial no. 1166, 30in. black powder only bold damascus barrels, rib engraved 'WALKER, NEWBURY FROM PURDEY'S LONDON', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. choke in both, carved percussion fences, non-rebounding back-action locks with high-spurred hammers, toplever operating a two piece 'pincer' locking mechanism in the action bar, interlocking into a slot in the single barrel lump upon closing, with block to prevent closure unless hammers at half or full cock, border and acanthus scroll engraving, 14 1/2in. stock (crack at hand) including partially engraved steel buttplate, weight 7lb.
