circa 1920, with blued 9 1/2in. nitro barrels, the top-rib signed 'THOMAS BLAND & SONS, 4-5 KING WILLIAM STREET WEST STRAND LONDON W.C.2', fully colour-hardened scroll-engraved top-lever action, borderline and scroll engraved colour-hardened back-action locks (un-signed), colour-hardened hammers, chequered full pistol butt with saw-back grip, carved horn grip-cap and chequered snap-on fore-end, much original finish throughout
