circa 1885, with 1 1/4in. two-stage barrel, round frame with smooth hard rubber grips, the action retaining much original nickel-plated finish, central boss engraved 'LE PROTECTOR. SYSTEME TURBIAUX.' on the left and 'BTE S.G.D.G. EN FRANCE & A L'ETRANGER.' together with 'PARIS on the right and a sliding safety in the band, London proofs, COMPLETE WITH its manufacturers original hinged storage case of red leatherette (discoloured) with purple velvet lining to accommodate the pistol and seven rounds of ammunition
