circa 1880, with re-blued round 2 1/2in. barrel signed 'COLT', the underside with London proofs, plain bronze frame stamped on the right hand side '14 PALL MALL', small rampant horse trademark on the left, walnut birdshead grips, blued hammer and sheathed trigger
