A RARE PRESENTATION GRADE .32 (RIMFIRE) FOUR-SHOT POCKET-PISTOL, MODEL ' SHARP'S 1859 PATENT', serial no. 379,
circa 1870, with slide-forwards fully fluted blued 3in. barrel group (stop missing), engraved fern-tipped band at muzzle, scroll engraved breech-end, panels of scroll engraving with central stippled oval grip-pieces to the left and right hand side of barrel group, fully border and scroll engraved silver-plated frame signed 'TIPPING & LAWDEN SHARPS PATENT ' in a scroll filled circle on the left hand side, push-button barrel release, central blued hammer with rotating nose, chequered ebony grips and blued sheath trigger, much original finish throughout
