for 1878, with round blued 5 1/2in. barrel signed with the Pall Mall address, blade fore-sight, sighting groove to the top-strap, blued fluted cylinder, plain colour-hardened frame with front mounted cylinder retaining screw and three line patent details, iron trigger-guard and grip-straps, smooth walnut one-piece grip and under-barrel spring-loaded ejector rod with 'bullseye' thumb-piece, much original finish and colour throughout TOGETHER WITH its original English market oak storage case, compartmented and lined in green baize, indented corner parchment 'Colt, Depot 14' trade label to inside of lid and including a 'Hawksley' oil-bottle, a Colt 'L' Shaped turn-screw, a Colt cleaning rod and the case key
