for 1891, with 5 1/2in. barrel signed 'COLT'S PT FA MFG CO HARTFORD CT USA DEPOT 14 PALL MALL LONDON', the left side of barrel stamped '.476 CAL', blade fore-sight, narrowed sighting channel to the top-strap, plain frame with loading gate, chequered hard-rubber birdshead grips embossed with the Colt trademark, lanyard ring at heel, spring loaded under-barrel ejector rod, the whole with some loss and flaking to plated finish, COMPLETE WITH a period leather service holster
