30in. damascus barrels, the rib engraved 'WHITE & THOMPSON MAKERS' and with a flash of scrollwork at the breech end, the tubes engraved with starbursts around the pin apertures, Jones patent rotary underlever, slender carved serpentine fences, dolphin hammers, the action and furniture engraved with fine acanthus scrollwork, the lockplates with feathered border engraving surrounding acanthus scrollwork and vignettes of pheasant and engraved 'WHITE & THOMPSON', the triggerguard engraved with a further vignette of a hound on point, retaining traces of original colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. stock with vacant escutcheon to the wrist, including blued steel buttplate, in its makers original fitted oak and leather case with some accessories, the lid exterior with tooled tramlines and vacant circular brass escutcheon
