circa 1855, with octagonal 5 1/2in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'PRYSE & REDMAN, 230 PICCADILLY, LONDON', small dovetailed blade fore-sight, scroll engraving to the muzzle, scroll engraving to the breech-end, plain cylinder, fully border and scroll engraved frame, the right hand side also marked with the serial number and 'ADAMS' PATENT No. 33712R', the number repeated in script on the cylinder, sliding safe behind the cylinder, brushed bright spurred hammer and trigger-blade, chequered walnut one-piece grip, iron scroll engraved grip-cap and trigger-guard bow, the whole refinished and reblued
