A .650 (REGULATION) FLINTLOCK SINGLE-SHOT SERVICE-PISTOL, no visible serial number
circa 1800, with brushed-bright round tapering 9in. barrel, carve band at breech, tower proofs and ordnance stamps, squared solid top-tang, borderline engraved flat lock with 'TOWER' at the tail and a crown over 'GR' forwards of the hammer, walnut full-stock (cracked and repaired along ramrod channel), plain grip with swollen pommel, larged brass butt-cap, brass trigger-guard bow, captive iron stirrup ramrod and brass nose-cap , the iron surfaces cleaned
