circa 1810, with round flaring 13 3/4in. barrel, twin carved bands at muzzle, engraved band at breech, provision for folding bayonet (missing), rounded solid top-tang with release catch, borderline engraved bevel-edged lockplate signed 'GOODWIN & CO', sliding safe behind the hammer, roller-bearing to the frizzen spring, walnut full-stock with exposed muzzle, skip-chequering to the wrist, iron furniture, cupped side-nails and wood under-barrel ramrod (missing tip)
