(indistinct), 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. full choke in both, self-opening side-clipped treble-grip action with hidden third bite, removable striker discs, the toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, articulated front trigger, fine bouquet and scroll engraving, retaining traces of renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/2in. figured replacement stock with escutcheon removed and filled, gold-inlaid with the initials 'RPC', including 3/4in. extension, the fore-end gold-inlaid '2', weight 7lb. 13oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
Provenance: The makers have kindly informed us that this shotgun was completed with 30in. barrels in June 1921 for E. Schilling.
