W.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and full choke, toplever gold-inlaid '2', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, rolled-edge triggerguard, action and recessed decorative sideplates fully engraved with bold acanthus scrollwork with feathered bordering, the action with Hellis cross-feathers motifs, retaining much colour-hardening and finish, 14 3/4in. figured stock with applied 7/8in. leather covered recoil pad, weight 6lb. 2oz., in a brass-cornered leather case with Grant & Lang trade label
