26 3/4in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2017, struck off), raised matt rib with blank name banner, flip-up leaf sight, bead fore-sight, the breech end with quickly-detachable telescopic sight mount bases, 2 1/2in. shot chambers and bored approx. full choke in both, treble-grip scroll-back action with side-clips and bolsters, pin cocking-indicators, tang mounted barrel selector lever, tang mounted manual safety, set front trigger, border and acanthus scroll engraving, retaining very slight traces of original finish, the underside with a banner inscribed 'ORIGINAL MERKEL - ANSON - DEELEY - SYSTEM', 14in. pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, horn buttplate, beavertail fore-end, weight 7lb. 3oz.
