A DECORATIVE IRON LAWN CANNON OF RENAISSANCE FORM,
early to mid 20th century, with a 'bore' of approximately 1 3/4in., the 41 1/2in. blacked cast barrel with cast bands and decoration, the legend 'GAVRE CHAMPET' in large raised letters on the top of the barrel near the muzzle, a pair of dolphin handles above the trunnions, bulbous cascabel, mounted on a later wood carriage with four diminutive wood wheels (some deterioration to wood)
